Question from Jamie: Hi. Just yesterday I tried to send someone I wasn’t “friends” with two pictures they had asked for. Facebook said if I wanted to have the message go directly into their message box, I had to pay a $1.00.
I also sent someone a link in a private message, and she could not take the link from her private message and put it to her site without paying. Is this Facebook really doing this or just another scam?

I recently bought a new computer and decided to give my 2 year old Gateway laptop to my son. Since he’s only 8 years old I’d like to keep him from accessing the Control Panel and accidentally messing things up.
My question is can you tell me how to disable the Control Panel in Windows 7?

Question from Michael B: Rick, I accidentally deleted some Windows files and ended up having to do a System Restore. I held my breath the entire time, but thank goodness it worked!
Everything seems to be back to normal now, but my AVG Free Antivirus won’t load. Do you have any idea why (and how I can fix it)? This is Windows 7 Pro on a Dell Latitude E6530 laptop.

Question from Trevor F.: Hi Rick. I have an HP G72-259WM laptop that’s really slow when playing most games. The screen will freeze and jump at random times. It’s really frustrating try to use this computer for anything related to gaming.
I’ve already had the RAM maxed out, and now I’m wanting to upgrade the video card. Is the video card replaceable in this computer?
