Posted on November 3, 2015

Windows-10-logoMillions of users have updated their PCs from Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, but plenty of others haven’t installed the update and they have no intention of doing so in the future.

If you are one of those folks who really don’t want to upgrade to Windows 10, Microsoft is planning to make it harder to avoid it in the coming year.  [Read more…]

Quickly uninstall unwanted Windows apps with CCleaner

Posted on October 29, 2015

ccleaner-logoMicrosoft first introduced the Windows Store along with Windows 8, and now that Windows 10 is here the Windows Store and its many available apps are included with it as well.

Posted on October 8, 2015

osx-el-capitan-logoQuestion from Carla T.:  I have a 3 year old MacBook that’s running OS X Mavericks and my son has been bugging me about upgrading the OS X to El Capitan.

I’m hesitant to do that because everything is running great and I don’t want to mess anything up.

I’m really confused about what to do because I’ve heard horror stories about upgrades that go wrong and trash the system. Do you think I should upgrade or not?
