Question from Ronald: I recently bought my first computer with Windows 11 on it.
I guess it’s ok overall but there are a few things that irritate me, one of which is how it forces me to enter a password every time I turn on the computer.
I don’t really need a password because I live alone and I’m the only person who has access to this computer.

Question from Melanie: I read an article about Windows 11 SE and they said it was meant to be Microsoft’s alternative to Chromebooks.
That sounds exactly like what I’m looking for because I don’t need anything more than a way to get on the Internet.
I checked on Amazon and a couple of other sites and I couldn’t find any computers that come with Windows 11 SE on them.
There are plenty of machines with Windows 11 on them but none with Windows 11 SE. Why not? [Read more…]
Question from Aleisha: I remember back when Windows 10 came out Microsoft really tried to push everyone into installing it.
Will they be doing the same thing with Windows 11?
I wasn’t happy about having to update to Windows 10, but I finally got used to it.
I hope I don’t end up having to switch to Windows 11 now that I’m finally used to Windows 10.

Question from Kevin: My laptop has Windows 10 on it and every time I press a key to wake it from sleeping I have to sign in again.
I’m the only one that has access to this laptop during the workday so I really don’t need to worry about someone else using it.
That’s why I only actually log off when I shut it down before I leave to go home in the evening.
