Well, there’s a very popular set of apps and games that are spreading like wildfire among Facebook users, and you should know that using one of them could well put your personal information at risk.
Hackers have been relentlessly attacking PCs that run Microsoft Windows for years while largely ignoring computers running other operating systems.
Why? Because they enjoy inflicting misery and financial loss on as many people as possible while expending the least effort.
It’s simply the age-old principle known as economy of scale at work. Since there are more Windows PCs out there than anything else, they aim their malicious attacks at them in order to get the most “bang for their buck”.
While PC’s are still huge targets, now that smartphones and tablets are in virtually every pocket in America the hackers have turned their attention to those devices as well.

By now you’re probably aware of the recent massive Facebook hack. After all, it’s been all over the news these past few days.
At last count this hack has resulted in at least 30 million users having at least some of their personal info stolen.
Unfortunately, the total number of users affected by the hack is still unknown, but Facebook is still investigating the breach so hopefully they’ll get it all sorted out before too long.
In the meantime, the company has published a special page on their website that will tell you if your account is one of the accounts already known to be affected.
Well, the Facebook hackers and scammers are at it again (as if they ever take a break).
The latest scam tries to entice users to click on a fake video of a scantily clad lady who is apparently in the process of taking off her clothes.

Well, another giant website has been hacked. This time it’s eBay, the iconic online auction site and digital marketplace.
eBay issued a statement this morning saying that hackers have managed to steal customer names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, birth dates, and encrypted account passwords. In other words, this one is BIG folks.
If you have an eBay account, you need to log in and change your password immediately. You might also want to start monitoring your credit reports along with your bank account and credit card statements just to be on the safe side.
