WP Rocket goes far beyond simple page caching. It also makes a plethora of other tweaks and enhancements to your WordPress blog that makes its pages load faster and improves other areas that affect your blog’s Core Web Vitals score in a big way.

If you’ve been struggling to get your blog “up to speed” you really owe it to yourself to give WP Rocket a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Today’s featured tech tip….

How to quickly find out if a website is safe to visit

These days it seems like there’s a malicious website lurking around every virtual corner of the Internet. That’s why it pays to play it safe when you encounter a link to a site you’re unfamiliar with.

One easy way to check to see if a given website contains malicious or otherwise dangerous code is to ask Google. And it’s really easy to do…

Just type (or copy and paste) the following into the Google search box (be sure to substitute the domain for the site in question in place of example.com):

https://transparencyreport.google.com/safe-browsing/search?url=example.com

Google will immediately tell you if their bots found any malicious code on that site.

While Google isn’t perfect in regards to this test, they are actually quite good at finding and flagging malicious content.
