The Canadian province of British Columbia is home to some of the world’s most magnificent scenery, and today’s picture by photographer Mac Danzig treats us to a small, but very beautiful sample of it.
The Green Frame Cascades are located in one of Canada’s most popular parks: Goldstream Provincial Park on southern Vancouver Island.
Thousands of visitors come each year to experience the beauty of the area’s old-growth temperate rain forest where you can walk among massive Douglas Fir and Western Red Cedar trees as well as a plethora of lush ferns, mosses and other plants.
And of course the Goldstream River’s annual salmon run draws thousands more.
I hope you like the photo!
