Existing Sprint customers can now lease an iPhone 6 for $5 per month

sprint-logoSprint has just announced the roll-out of a $15 per month “Customer Loyalty Credit” for existing customers who wish to upgrade to the new iPhone 6.

The $15 credit will be applied directly to the customer’s monthly bill, effectively reducing the iPhone 6’s monthly lease fee from $20 to just $5.

If you happen to think that having a touch screen on a laptop is just plain silly, you’re apparently not alone. In fact, it appears that very few consumers prefer tapping the screen on a full-blown laptop over using a mouse or trackpad.

Sales of touch screen laptops have been so dismal that they appear to be on the verge of extinction. According to Digitimes, most major PC manufacturers have either stopped producing touch screen laptops already or they have plans to do so in the near future.  [Read more…]

kmart-logoKmart has just announced that malware has been discovered on a large percentage of their stores’ cash registers, and they also confirmed that customer credit card and debit card information has been stolen.

The bank accounts and/or credit card accounts of customers who shopped at any Kmart store during the last 45 days could possibly be at risk.

Bottom line: If you shopped at a brick and mortar Kmart store during the last month and a half and paid for your purchases with a debit or credit card, it is strongly recommended that you contact your bank or card issuer right away.
