Windows-10-logoIn an earlier post I explained how Microsoft was making plans to automatically install the Windows 10 upgrade on as many PCs running Windows 7 and 8.1 as they possibly can.

Q&A: How do I disable my ‘Frequently Visited Sites’ in Safari?

Rick’s answer:  Amanda, iOS 9 makes it very easy to prevent Safari from showing your frequently visited sites. Just follow the steps below:  [Read more…]

Posted on January 30, 2016

newsletterHello again everyone. I hope you all had a great week!

Well, it’s been 6 months now since Microsoft released Windows 10, and I’ve been using it and putting it through its paces since the day it was released.

I also helped test and evaluate the Technical Preview version of Windows 10 via the Windows Insider Program for several months before Windows 10’s July 2015 official release.

In total, I’ve been using Windows 10 in its various iterations for about a year now, and during that time I developed a sincere appreciation for this latest version of Microsoft’s flagship operating system.  [Read more…]

Posted on January 25, 2016

truffol-cherry-wood-usb-chargerIt seems like every company on the planet is selling USB chargers these days, and I’ve tested and reviewed a bunch of them.

I recently received a desktop charger for review that’s entirely different from all the ones I had ever seen before.

The Truffol 5-Port 36W Wood/Aluminum USB Charger is a small, elegantly designed multi-port charger that’s hand-built into a gorgeous cherry wood case. Yes, that’s right – a real cherry wood case that’s hand-built!  [Read more…]
