Today’s featured tech tip….

Make your phone end calls by pressing the Power button

If you have an Android phone you’ve probably noticed that it can sometimes be difficult to end a voice call when you’re unable to use both hands for some reason.

Well here’s a very simple solution: Set your phone to end calls simply by pressing the Power button. It’s easy to do, and it works like a charm.

Follow the steps below to set it up:

Note: This procedure might vary just a bit depending on your phone’s brand, model and installed Android version. Therefore you should use the steps below as a general guide.

1 – Tap the gear-shaped Settings icon.

2 – Tap Accessibility.

3 – Tap System controls.

4 – Scroll down and toggle the “Power button ends call” option to On.

That’s all there is to it. From now on when you want to end a phone call you won’t have to juggle the phone with one hand while scrambling to find the “End Call” button.

Simply press the phone’s Power button and the call will be terminated immediately.

By the way, if you’re wondering why I didn’t include instructions for setting this up on an iPhone, it’s because iPhones have this feature already activated by default. Give it a try sometime…
