Today’s featured tech tip….

Here’s an easy way to cast your PC screen to your TV

Do you have a Chromecast device connected to your TV?

If so, you can easily “cast” the contents of your computer’s screen onto your TV’s screen with just a few mouse clicks if you’re using Google’s Chrome browser. Here’s how:

1 – Right-click on a blank area of the Chrome window and select Cast from the pop-up menu.

2 – Select the Chromecast-enabled device on which you’d like your browser window to appear.

3 – (Optional) Choose what you want to cast (i.e. just one browser tab, your PC’s entire Desktop, or a specific file) onto your target TV screen.

That’s all there is to it. You should now see the content you shared from your computer screen displayed on your TV’s screen.

Rick’s Daily Pick…

Lightning Ofertas USB-C 240W Super Fast Charging Station

Yesterday’s post about today’s smartphones being shipped without chargers prompted several readers to ask me to recommend a charger that’s powerful enough (and flexible enough) to quickly charge all of their devices at once.

This one will easily charge multiple devices in one session, including virtually all popular laptops.

Today’s post from ‘My Daily Smile’…

The power of learning (from the mistakes of others)

One of the greatest tips for achieving ultimate success.

Tech news that caught my eye…

• Microsoft confirms multiple issues in Windows 11’s 2024 security updates

• Gmail now lets you switch between a simple or advanced toolbar

• Walmart plans to launch digital shelf tags in 2300 stores

• If you use an adblocker, you need to read this

• Batteries with 100-times higher energy density coming to life soon

Wondering how you can help me keep doing what I’m doing?

1 – If you’d like to help support my work, you can do so by leaving me a tip.

Every penny of your tip will go towards my blog’s web hosting and other related fees, which are substantial.

2 – You can Forward this email to a friend along with a short note of recommendation. (Just click the “Forward” button or link.)

Rest assured that anything you can do to help me keep helping folks will be greatly appreciated.
