Review: Acer Aspire TC desktop computer

These days most people seem to prefer laptops over desktop computers, and for good reason. Laptops are portable and they can easily be taken along when traveling.

That being said, some people (myself included) still prefer using a desktop machine while we’re at home or working in the office.

There are several outstanding mid-range desktops on the market right now, one of which is the sleek and powerful Acer Aspire TC.

I’ve used and tested a lot of desktop computers in my day, and I can honestly say this is one of my favorites. It offers plenty of power for the money, and it’s a joy to use.

Review: CyberPowerPC Liquid Cooled SLC8600A Desktop Gaming PC

If you’re shopping for a gaming PC you’re probably looking for the fastest CPU, the most capable video card and the most RAM and hard drive storage you can get for your money.

Unfortunately, unless you have some pretty deep pockets you’re probably not going to find a machine in your price range that comes with the very best in each of those categories.

The good news is there are a few gaming desktops to choose right now that come pretty close to perfection in terms of performance, yet are still well within a serious gamer’s budget.

Review: Toshiba Satellite C55-C5241 15.6 Inch Laptop

Today I’m going to tell you about the sleek new Toshiba Satellite C55-C5241 that I recently took for a spin.

Review: Site 5 VPS Web Hosting

When I built my first website back in 2003 I was pretty much in over my head. Even though it was a very basic site, I still found myself struggling with most every aspect of building and maintaining it.

One of the things I struggled with the most was choosing a good web hosting company. I tried a number of hosting companies and plans over the next couple of years, and finally found one that gave me the support I needed as I expanded the site and began to build more traffic to it. That company was Hostgator, and I can honestly say they are great!

As I learned more and built more websites and kept adding content to them, the traffic my sites were receiving on a daily basis began to grow exponentially. It soon became apparent that I desperately needed to move my sites onto a dedicated server. I chose the most economical plan that Hostgator offered, and was quite pleased with the results.
