The battery in my trusty Lenovo G570 laptop has gone bad and I need to replace it.
I really love this laptop now that I’ve taken your advice and put Linux on it.
I’d really like to keep using it if I can, but I don’t want to spend a fortune on a battery for it.

I don’t know if it’s always been that way because I just started noticing it a few days ago.

Question from Jeannie: Hi, Rick. I need a little help with a Windows 11 issue if you don’t mind.
When I had Windows 10 on my laptop I could put it onto Tablet mode and I could do a lot of what I needed to do just by touching icons and links and other stuff on the screen.
That was a blessing to me because I have severe arthritis in my hands and that makes it really hard to use the mouse and keyboard.
I recently allowed the update to replace Windows 10 with Windows 11 and now I can’t figure out how to enable Tablet mode on it. Everything is so different!

Question from Denise: Rick, I went and bought a new 4K flat screen TV a couple of days ago after asking the sales rep for a recommendation.
Long story short, I absolutely love the TV he recommended, but something is bothering me.
He insisted that I also needed to purchase a super-expensive HDMI cable to connect my Roku 4K device to the TV. He said the video quality would be greatly reduced if I bought a cheaper one.
The one he talked me into buying was $70! Did I get ripped off?

Question from Harley: I own a small business with six employees.
I just bought brand new Windows desktop computers for every desk. They were close-outs and I got a really good deal.
The fellow who delivered the machines and set them up gave all of them names that are little more than random strings of characters.
