Today’s quick tech tip….

How to use your smartphone as an alarm clock

Did you know you’re probably carrying one of the best alarm clocks ever in your pocket at this very moment?

Both iPhones and Androids have fantastic alarm clock features that are both easy to use and very effective at getting you up at the appropriate time.

Want to give it a try? Just follow the steps below that match your phone type.

If you have an Android phone:

1 – Open the Clock app.

2 – Tap the Alarm button in the corner of the screen.

3 – Tap on the alarm’s default time and enter the time you want the alarm to go off at, then tap OK.

4 – Select any of the additional options on the screen that you wish to set.

5 – Make sure the alarm is set to On (the slider should be blue).

If you have an iPhone:

1 – Open the Clock app and select the Alarm tab.

2 – Tap the Add button (i.e. the plus sign).

3 – Set a time for the alarm.

4 – Select any of the additional options on the screen that you wish to set.

 5 – Tap Save.

That’s all there is to it. Your phone should now sound an alert (i.e. alarm) at the time you selected.
