Today’s Quick Tip….

Do you frequently use your Windows 10 PC at night while someone else is trying to sleep in the same room?

If so, chances are the bright light emitted from the screen makes it difficult for them to fall asleep.

Turning on ‘Dark Mode’ can help by forcing the screen to emit a lot less light into the room. Here’s how to enable it:

1 – Click the Start button.

2 – Click the Settings icon (it looks like a ‘gear‘ or ‘cog‘).

3 – Click Personalization.

4 – Click Colors.

5 – Click inside the “Choose your color” box and select the Dark option.

That’s all there is to it. Your screen should now be emitting a lot less light than it did before.

To disable ‘Dark Mode’ simply repeat the steps above and select the Light option when you get to step # 5.
