Posted on January 11, 2022

Question from Donna:  I have a co-worker who said she often uses the free Xfinity WiFi hotspots to access the Internet every time she goes to the beach.

She said Xfinity has hotspots just about everywhere so there might be one I can use when I visit my mom in Cleveland.

Posted on October 26, 2021

Question from Rod:  I received a flyer in the mail from Xfinity saying everyone in my area now has the option to upgrade our Internet service to 1200Mbps with virtually no increase in the monthly charges.

I bought the modem I have now four years ago and it’s still working great.

My question is will I need to buy a new modem in order to get the full 1200Mbps speed that comes with this new plan?  [Read more…]

Recently Comcast has indicated that the Norton Security online will no longer be available after January 1, 2021.

Instead Xfinity xFi Advanced Security is already included at no charge.

They say we will have a full security solution with the Xfinity xFi advanced security.

Is this true that we don’t need any additional security to replace Norton Security?
