If you’ve been using Facebook Messenger for more than 10 minutes you’ve probably received an instant message that begins with something like:
“Please send this to all your contacts…”
or
“Please tell all the contacts in your Messenger list…”
If your Facebook experience is anything like mine you probably receive these “dire warning” messages on a regular basis.

Question from Brenda: I have a Facebook question that I hope you can answer for me Rick.
I have many varied interests so I “Like” a wide variety of pages, some of which I’d rather keep to myself and not let some of my Facebook friends know about.

Have you ever logged into your Facebook account at work and forgot to log back out before leaving for the day?
Or perhaps you borrowed a friend’s smartphone to post a quick status update and then handed the phone back to him/her without logging out?
Even worse, perhaps something happened that leads you to believe that someone else (a hacker perhaps?) was logged into your account on a remote device?
