Q&A: How can I tell if a person received my friend request on Facebook?

Posted on June 19, 2023

Question from Kelly:  I recently sent a friend request to a friend of mine after I found out she’s on Facebook. It’s been over a week and it still says “Friend Request Sent”.

I used your site’s search box and found this post where you answered a similar question for a woman named Delores, but my situation is a little different from hers.

Posted on May 16, 2023

Well, there’s yet another dangerous Facebook-related scam making the rounds right now.

I know, I’m shocked too!

As usual, there are several variations of this scam.

They seem to primarily be spreading via fake SMS text messages and emails.

However, I’ve seen a few reports of it being spread via IMs on Twitter as well (which is interesting since this is a Facebook-related scam that has nothing to do with Twitter).
