Question from Peggy: I know my question will probably make me sound dumb but I have to ask it anyway.
Several old friends from my school days had trouble finding me on Facebook because they were searching for my maiden name.
How do I add my maiden name to my Facebook profile but have it separate from my married name? In other words display my married name like it is now with my maiden name underneath it?
By default, Facebook doesn’t show the posts in a group with the newest posts at the top of the feed.
Instead, they start off with the posts that Facebook’s algorithm has deemed to be the most relevant.
Speaking strictly for myself, I prefer seeing the posts displayed in reverse order, with the newest post at the top and the oldest post at the bottom. [Read more…]
Question from Maria: A good friend of mine kept hounding me to “Like” her Facebook page.
I finally did and now I’m seeing posts she’s putting up that I have no desire to see.
Can I change a setting somewhere that’ll let me stop receiving the posts but still “Like” the page? [Read more…]

Have you ever received a message from a Facebook friend that reads something like this?
“I think you’ve been hacked. Someone using your account just posted a nasty message [or photo] on my Newsfeed! You need to change your password.”
I received a bunch of messages like this during the first year or so after I started using Facebook.
