Well, the hackers and scammers of the world are once again targeting unsuspecting Apple customers.
This latest Apple-related scam is a variation of this recurring scam in which the scammers call you from out of the blue and tell you your machine has been infected with a virus or is experiencing some other serious problem that needs to be taken care of right away.
Question from Claire: I recently lost the iPhone I’d had for several years so I bought a new one to replace it.
That’s not really a bad thing because I’d been looking for an excuse to buy a new one (smile).
The thing is I still have the backup from the old iPhone stored in my iCloud account. How can I get rid of it?

Most Windows users know how important it is to always have a recent backup on hand in case their PC’s hard drive or SSD goes south on them or some other disaster strikes.
