Today’s Quick Tip….

How to use your SMS Text Messaging app to quickly send an email

Do you ever find yourself needing to quickly send someone a short email from your smartphone?

If so, you probably pull out your phone, open up your email app, tap the “Compose” button, select the recipient, type your message and then tap “Send”.

Well guess what? There’s a much faster and easier way to get that email into the recipient’s Inbox…

Instead of the email app, use your phone’s SMS Text Messaging app (the app you use to send and receive regular text messages).

That’s right, you can send an email right from your messaging app. It’s fast, and very easy to do. Here’s how:

1 – Open your SMS messaging app and tap the New Message icon.

2 – Enter the recipient’s email address in the “To:” field.

Hint: You can make this process lightning fast by adding your contacts’ email addresses to their entries in your Contacts List.

3 – Type out your message exactly like you would if you were composing a text message.

4 – Tap Send.

That’s all there is to it. Since you entered an email address instead of a phone number the message will go directly to the recipient’s email Inbox just like any other email.
