Need a quick diversion? Play Tic-Tac-Toe against Google

Posted on May 28, 2024

Do you work with a computer all day?

If so, you could probably use a little diversion from time to time.

As I mentioned in this issue of my Rick’s Tech Tips Newsletter, you can always take a break and spend a few minutes playing the awesome retro game Pac-Man courtesy of Google.

But truth be told, Google provides several other free games for your enjoyment, one of which is the timeless classic Tic-Tac-Toe.  [Read more…]

Review (Update): Vevor 3000W 24VDC to 120VAC Pure Sine Wave Inverter

After that post went live several other readers emailed me asking for instructions for doing the same thing with Chrome.  [Read more…]

Posted on May 26, 2024

Question from Mary:  I have a set of Bluetooth “over the ear” headphones and a pair of Bluetooth earbuds that are both paired to my Windows laptop.

I frequently switch back and forth between them, depending on what I’m using them for.

What I’d like to do is create a desktop shortcut to the Bluetooth settings so I can quickly open them when I need to switch from the headphones to the earbuds (or vice versa).

I can’t find a way to create that shortcut. Do you know of a way to do it?  [Read more…]
