Today’s quick tech tip….

This is my favorite tool for compressing images

Do you use images on a blog or send them to other people as email attachments?

If so, you can compress them to make your blog pages load faster and keep them under the file size limit imposed by some email services.

There are tons of image compression tools available on the web, but the one I like best is TinyPNG.

Although this tool has PNG in its name, it can also compress a couple of other image formats as well, including the ever-popular JPEG.

I really like TinyPNG because it’s so easy to use. Just visit the website at the above link and drag your image into the box at the top of the page.

Then click the download link to copy the compressed image onto your computer.
