Today’s Quick Tech Tip….

How to schedule text messages for future delivery on your Android phone

Have you ever wished you could write a text message on your Android phone and schedule it to be sent to the recipient at a later date and time?

For example, you might want to schedule a “Happy Birthday” text ahead of time to make sure you don’t forget to text a friend on their birthday.

Well, you can do that (and a whole lot more) with the powerful Google Messages app.

Simply install Google Messages and set it as your phone’s default messaging app.

Once Google Messages is installed and set as your phone’s default messaging app you’ll be able to use it to send and receive SMS text messages just like you always have.

But now you’ll also be able to choose the date and time when you want the text to be sent.

This handy app has lots of other options and features that aren’t available in the stock Android Messenger app as well.

I recommend that you just take a few minutes to look through the app’s options and settings to see what’s available.
