Today’s featured tech tip….

This Windows feature can help if you’re colorblind

Colorblindness affects hundreds of millions of people world-wide to one degree or another, ranging all the way from a minor red-green deficiency to the complete inability to distinguish colors at all.

If you have some degree of colorblindness and you have trouble seeing things on your computer screen, both Windows 10 and Windows 11 have a feature called Color Filters that might help.

I won’t go into step-by-step detail here with instructions for using it because it’ll involve using a fair amount of trial-and-error until you find the settings that work best for you, but this Microsoft Support page has all the info you need to get started.

Just select either the Windows 10 or Windows 11 tab for instructions that match your Windows version.
