Today’s Quick Tip….

How (and why) to enable Reader View on your iPhone or iPad

Have you ever tried viewing a web page filled with ads and other kinds of miscellaneous junk in Safari on your iPhone or iPad?

If so, you know how difficult it can be to avoid the distractions and concentrate on the text and photos.

Well, there’s a simple way to avoid all that junk…

You can enable a feature called “Reader View” that will strip away all the junk and display a streamlined version of the page containing just the text and images.

Want to give it a try? Here’s how:

1 – Open the web page you want to read in the Safari browser on your iPhone or iPad.

2 – Tap and hold the aA icon that’s located on the left-hand side of the address bar until the icon’s background turns black.

That’s all there is to it. You should now have a cleaner, easier to read version of the web page displayed in the browser.

To exit Reader View simply tap and hold the same aA icon until its background turns white.
