Back in the early days of home computing, most users had to connect their computers to the Internet using a dial-up analog modem.
Those dial-up connections were typically about as slow as a sedated slug, and establishing and keeping a stable connection was tricky at best.

As you probably know, your router allows everyone in your home or business to connect their computers, phones and other devices to the Internet.
Unfortunately, if your router’s security isn’t completely locked down it can also be used by hackers to do nefarious things online while making it appear that YOU are the culprit.
I have written many times about why it’s so important to protect your family’s WiFi network by enabling encryption on it and locking it down with a strong password.
