How to give any iOS device a ‘Night Mode’

ios-logo-2Night Mode is absolutely awesome if you use your mobile device at night. Night Mode inverts the colors on the screen, making the device emit a lot less light – which in turn results in a lot less strain on the eyes.

While Night Node is built into a handful of popular apps, it isn’t a standard feature on all iOS devices that works regardless of what you happen to be doing with the device at any given time.

Why Microsoft might soon start giving away Windows for free

windows-for-freeCould Microsoft be working on plans to give away their cash-cow Windows operating system for free? According to several reliable sources, the answer could be yes.

It’s no secret that Microsoft’s share of the operating system market is dwindling by the day, and it all started way back with the release of Apple’s first iPad. The guys and gals in Redmond apparently thought users would consider tablet PCs to be toys, not suitable replacements for desktop and laptop computers.

Apple releases critical security update for iOS

ios-logoApple has just announced a critical security flaw in both iOS (on smart phones, tablets and iPods) and OSX (on laptops and desktop computers).

This threat has been classified as severe because the flaw can allow hackers to see and intercept your encrypted web traffic under certain circumstances.
