Question from Alex:  I’m a singer/musician who has a large semi-local following in my city and the surrounding areas.

I created a Facebook page and tried to use it to let my fans know about my upcoming gigs, but I recently found out that Facebook only shows my posts to a just a small percentage of my 8,000+ followers.

I’ve found that I do a lot better when I post the dates on my personal Facebook Timeline.

The problem is Facebook won’t allow me to have more than 5,000 friends and I have new people wanting to friend me all the time.

Q&A: Can a cell phone damage a credit card or key fob?

Question from Cam :  I’ve been wondering about the something and I’m hoping you can set me straight.

I always carry my credit cards, my debit card and the key ring with my car keys and key fob on it all in my purse right next to my cell phone.

My question is could the battery or any parts of the cellphone or the electric current in the phone (which I leave turned on) somehow damage the key fob or erase the data on my bank cards? [Read more…]
