Facebook to show fewer text-only posts from Pages in fans’ newsfeeds

facebook-logoFacebook announced yesterday that they plan to start placing fewer text-only posts from Facebook pages into the newsfeeds of the users who have “Liked” the pages.

LogMeIn has stopped offering free accounts

logmein-logoIf you use the free version of LogMeIn, you’ll have to start paying if you want to keep using it. The popular remote desktop service has now dropped the free access plan that was so popular for so long.

Existing users of LogMeIn Free have 7 days to sign up and pay a discounted yearly fee that starts at $49, but new customers will be required to pay $99 a year.

How to restore the vertical scroll bar arrows in Google Chrome

chrome-os-logoHave you ever noticed the little arrows at the top and bottom of your web browser’s vertical scroll bar? Clicking and holding one of those arrows will cause the current web page to scroll up or down, but if you don’t use them you might not even realize they are there.

But if you do use the scroll arrows, you’d probably feel lost without them.

Q&A: How do I reset a Droid Ultra back to the factory settings?

droid-ultraQuestion from Adrianna:  I bought my daughter a Droid Ultra for Christmas, and she has already downloaded so much stuff onto it that it’s become unstable, and at times completely unresponsive.

I tried uninstalling a bunch of the apps, but that didn’t help. Most of the ones that are still on there came pre-installed on the phone, and it won’t let me delete them.

I’d like to just reset the phone back to its factory settings, but she has already lost the instruction book. Can you tell me how to reset it?
