Review: Lexar JumpDrive S33 USB 3.0 Flash Drive

Posted on March 28, 2014

Microsoft will pay you $100 to upgrade from Windows XP to a new Windows 8 machine

Posted on March 23, 2014

ms-100-dollar-upgrade-offerThe folks at Microsoft have been trying for a long time now to get users to move up to the world of Windows 8, and so far with only limited success.

When I click on a photo in Windows Explorer it always opens in a Start Screen app instead of one of my desktop photo editors (I have 3 of them). How can I fix that?

Posted on March 19, 2014

maxivista-logoQuestion from Jim L.:  I recently bought a new iPad Mini because I needed a tablet with cellular connectivity.

What I’d like to do going forward is use my old Wi-Fi only iPad II as a 2nd monitor for my Dell laptop. Is that possible? And if it is, how expensive would it be?
