Q&A: Why aren’t the keys on computer keyboards in alphabetical order?

Question from Tina G.: I was typing up a paper for school the other day when I realized that the keys on my Macbook’s keyboard aren’t in alphabetical order.

I looked at my dad’s laptop and its keyboard has the same weird layout.

I had never really thought about it before, but now I’m curious. Are all computer keyboards layed out this way? And if they are, why?

Q&A: How can I tell if my phone’s wall charger is bad?

Question from Judy D:. Is there any way to tell if a phone charger is bad? The wall charger that came with my phone seems to work ok but it takes forever to charge my battery.

It usually takes a little over 2 hours to charge my phone completely up when the battery is really low, but the charger that came with my sister’s phone will do it in about an hour.
