Posted on May 7, 2024

Lifestyle diseases and chronic pains are rising with more people neglecting proper diet and exercise. Every third person in an office set-up seems to be suffering from sciatica pains, gut issues, and chronic neck and arm pains.

Occupational hazards are not limited to factory and construction jobs. We feel the perfect temperature controlled environment, with some offices pampering their employees with free food at work, are the top-dollar jobs and one must vye for those positions.  [Read more…]

Q&A: How do I disable the keyboard on my laptop?

Posted on May 6, 2024

Note: The links in this post are affiliate links.

Question from Greg:  I dropped my heavy book bag onto my laptop’s keyboard several days ago, and when it landed I heard a cracking sound.

The keyboard still works, but at random times it’ll just start typing garbage on its own. It’s basically unusable so I’d like to disable the built-in keyboard and use a cheap USB keyboard in its place.

Truth be told, they really do put in a great effort to make their products as secure as possible. Unfortunately, that doesn’t really matter. Here’s why…  [Read more…]

Why you should enable ‘Breadcrumbs’ on your blog

Posted on May 4, 2024

If you’re a blogger you’re probably familiar with the term “breadcrumbs”.

In a nutshell, breadcrumbs are navigable paths from a blog’s home page to the page that’s currently displayed in the browser.

Every portion of the breadcrumb path except for the post/page name itself can be clicked on to jump immediately to that section of the blog.

For example, if you look at the top of this page you’ll see the following breadcrumb situated between the bottom menu bar and the post title: [Read more…]
