RicksDailyTips Newsletter for Sep 23, 2017 – How to always buy a new domain name from Godaddy for just 99 cents

Posted on September 23, 2017

Hello again. I hope you had a great week!

Are you thinking about starting a blog to share your thoughts and experiences with the world?

Or perhaps you’d like to start one to supplement your retirement income?

Whatever your reason for wanting to create a new blog, there’s a little secret that will allow you to purchase your new blog’s domain name from Godaddy for just 99 cents!

This isn’t a limited time promotion either. It’s been going on for years, and I doubt if it will be coming to an end anytime soon.

So what’s the secret? Google!!!

Just follow the steps below to buy your new domain from Godaddy for just 99 cents:

1 – Click here to visit the Google website.

2 – Type the following into the Google search box and press the Enter key:

godaddy 99 cent domains

You should now see a list of search results. Somewhere near the top of that list will be a Godaddy ad for 99 cent domains. Click that ad to visit a special landing page on the Godaddy website.

Note: Be sure to only click the actual official Godaddy link (it will have godaddy.com in the URL).

3 – After you’re on the Godaddy website use the Search box to find a domain name you like.

4 – Click the Add to Cart button and purchase the domain. Once you’re on the “Checkout” screen you’ll see that Godaddy is going to charge you just 99 cents (plus a few cents more in fees).

Caveat: Be aware that the 99 cent discounted rate only applies for the first year. At renewal time you’ll be charged the going rate (currently in the neighborhood of $15 per year).

That’s all there is to it! Now you know how to always buy your new domain names from Godaddy for about a buck!
