Today’s quick tech tip….

Quickly find the general location for a telephone area code

You probably know the first three digits of a 10-digit telephone number make up the area code, but did you know there’s a quick and easy way to find the general location that a number’s area code is assigned to?

All you have to do is visit AllAreaCodes.com and type the area code in question into the search box and you’ll be given a map of the actual area that the area code covers.

What’s more, if you enter the entire 10-digit number it’ll give you the city/town the number is assigned to as well as the cellular carrier or landline provider.
