Do you ever find yourself needing to see a list of all the Android apps you have purchased? The Google Play Store allows you to see such a list by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and then selecting the My Orders & Settings link, but the list you’re given includes your free apps mixed in with the paid ones.
A free app called My Purchases lists just the apps you actually paid money for along with links to the apps’ pages in the Play Store, the date you purchased the apps and the amount you paid for them. Really useful stuff in my opinion.
There is a paid version of My Purchases as well, but the only difference between the free version and the paid version is the paid version is ad free. To download My Purchases to your Android device, simply visit the Google Play Store and search for it by name.
Have you ever been in a quiet room and had your phone ring so loudly that half the people around you nearly jumped out of their skin? Or perhaps you were in a place so noisy that you missed an important call because you couldn’t hear your phone ringing?
Do you ever have guests over to your home who ask to access your secure Wi-Fi connection? Depending on the guests, it can be a little uncomfortable handing over the password to your Wi-Fi network. Well, now you don’t have to if both you and your guests use Android devices.
Have you ever dropped your smart phone and watched it bounce across the floor? I have too, and it isn’t a very pleasant experience. And if you’ve ever dropped you phone into water the feeling is even worse!
Every day thousands of laptops, tablets and smart phones are lost or stolen, and relatively few of them are ever recovered and returned to their rightful owners. But a free app called Prey can tilt the odds greatly in your favor.
