How to remove available job openings from your LinkedIn feed

If you use LinkedIn you’re probably used to seeing lots of available job notifications showing up in your feed.

While some folks are actively looking for a new job and others are always willing to consider job offers that might align with their career goals, plenty of other LinkedIn users have no interest in seeing job openings in their feed at all.

Personally, I fall into the “I’d rather not see the job openings in my feed” camp. If you feel that way too you can easily block those job opening notifications with a simple settings change. [Read more…]

Q&A: Why can’t my PC access the files on my Android phone?

Question from Alex:  I used to be able to plug my Android phone into my Windows laptop and copy the photos from the phone to the computer.

However, I tried that this morning and when I opened the phone in File Explorer it said “This folder is empty.”

I haven’t changed any settings on either the laptop or the phone so I don’t know why File Explorer can’t see the photos that are on the phone (there are tons of them).
