I hope you can help me with a Gmail question.

I have over 7000 messages in my Gmail Inbox and about as many in my “Sent Mail” folder.

I’d like to wipe out all those old messages and start fresh, but it would take forever to go through there and delete them a page at a time.

Q&A: How do I remove the previews from my Gmail inbox?

Question from Paul:  I recently switched my email from another service to Gmail and I have a question that I hope you can answer.

My Gmail inbox shows short previews of the email text beside each email’s subject line.

I’ve found that the previews make the screen look crowded and they are distracting to me.

Q&A: How can I get Firefox to open email links in Gmail?

Question from Raymond:  I hope you can help me solve a problem I’m having with email links, Rick. It’s absolutely driving me up the wall.

Whenever I click an email link on a web page in Firefox it automatically loads Outlook from my hard drive, and I don’t want it to.

I switched my email from Outlook to Gmail several months ago but I can’t figure out how to make email links open automatically in Gmail without having to copy the link and paste it into a new blank email.

How to disable the ‘Smart Compose’ feature in Gmail

How to ‘Unsend’ a Gmail message if you change your mind

Have you ever clicked the “Send” button after composing an email and immediately realized that you had sent the message to the wrong person?

Or perhaps you have sent an angry response to an email, only to regret it just as soon as you clicked “Send”?

Things like this happen to most of us at times, and it’s never a good feeling when they do.
