I hate it when I’m tagged in a photo or status update that’s embarrassing or doesn’t even pertain to me in some way.

In a previous post I explained how to link to an individual Facebook post.
Since then I’ve seen several of my friends say they are “sharing” a post so they can find it on their Timeline at a later date.
Some people also prefer using Facebook’s “Save” feature to save interesting posts for later reading.
Sharing a good post is great because it lets your friends enjoy the posts that you like or find useful (I LOVE it when folks share my tips and photos with their friends), but it can still be time-consuming going back through your Timeline trying to find a post from days, weeks or months past. Do you ever feel like you really need to take a temporary break from seeing one your friend’s posts in your Facebook Newsfeed?

If you’ve been using Facebook for longer than it takes paint to dry you probably see a bunch of spams, scams and hoaxes hit your Newsfeed on a regular basis.
Some of the malicious posts making the rounds are cleverly written and well-presented, making it difficult for the average person to recognize them as being fraudulent.
