Did you pay attention to the news during the 2016 election cycle?

Well guess what? You might well have given those groups permission to mine your data without even realizing it.
What’s more, you might still be doing it.
Lots of folks love playing games and using apps on Facebook, but many others would rather drink a glass of spoiled milk through a dirty straw.
If you fall into the last group you probably aren’t all that thrilled to see a game or app invitation pop up in your notifications area.

Question from Randy E.: Hi Rick. Are you familiar with those Bitstrips cartoons that pop up on Facebook now where your friends are the characters in the cartoons? Well I hate them, and I’d love to be able to block them. Can you tell me how?
Rick’s answer: Randy, I sure am familiar with the Bitstrips, and to be honest I sort of like them. But I can certainly see where others might find them annoying if they aren’t really into that sort of thing.
