Review: Inateck 2.5 inch to 3.5 inch SSD Mounting Bracket Adapter kit

Regular readers of this blog know I’m always talking about how replacing a computer’s hard drive with an SSD provides more “bang for the buck” than just about any other hardware upgrade you can make.

The only other upgrade that even comes close is a RAM upgrade, and that’s only true if the machine is running low on RAM in the first place.

Luckily, swapping out the hard drive for an SSD in most laptops is a breeze. Since both drives are typically 2.5 inch drives it’s literally as easy as removing the hard drive and installing the SSD in its place. A fast and easy process.

Heads-Up: These Windows 7 games will stop working in January

If so, I’m afraid you’ll no longer be able to play them after January rolls around.

Q&A: How can I disable the Wi-Fi network on a Linksys WRT54G router?

Question from Artie L.:  I recently bought a used Linksys WRT54G router for a whopping $2 at a yard sale.

It seems to be working ok because it lights up and I can see a new Wi-Fi network on my laptop after I turn it on.

I’d like to disable the existing Wi-Fi network and use this router as a 4 port switch.

The problem is I didn’t get any kind of documentation with the router so I don’t have a clue about how to disable the Wi-Fi.
