Q&A: Can I add a second screen to an older computer?

Question from Mickey:  I have an older Acer desktop computer that’s running Windows 10.

I want to add a 2nd screen to that machine just to display my Gmail, but the problem is it has just one video output port.

Opinion: Microsoft can’t seem to stop trashing their own reputation.

A while back I wrote a post explaining why I believe Microsoft’s Windows Update procedure needs a lot of work.

At the time I was hopeful they’d have their act together by now, but I’m afraid that simply isn’t the case.

Virtually every Windows Update they’ve released this year has been buggy and caused problems for a significant percentage of Windows users.

In short, the problem seems to be getting worse instead of better.

Q&A: Will Messenger notify the sender if I screenshot his message?

Question from Beverly:  A man I work with but barely know sent me a nasty picture and a really disturbing comment in an instant message via Facebook Messenger and it really upset me.

I’d like to report him to HR but I’m afraid he’ll delete the picture and message before they have a chance to investigate.

I’d like to take a screenshot of the photo and message but I’m afraid if I do Facebook will notify him that I did it. Will they?
