How to log out of Facebook remotely using a different device

Have you ever logged into your Facebook account at work and forgot to log back out before leaving for the day?

Or perhaps you borrowed a friend’s smartphone to post a quick status update and then handed the phone back to him/her without logging out?

Even worse, perhaps something happened that leads you to believe that someone else (a hacker perhaps?) was logged into your account on a remote device?

Q&A: Can you use a portable power station as a UPS?

Question from Roland:  I’m hoping you can answer some questions for me about portable power stations.

The power went off on my street and stayed off for over 7 hours. My almost new 1,000 watt UPS only kept my computer and monitor running for about an hour.

My cousin (who is also my neighbor) has a 500 watt Jackery portable power station and he said it kept his computer running for over 5 hours, and his computer has a bigger monitor.

Add a Group Policy Editor to any version of Windows

If you’ve ever used a Pro or Enterprise edition of Microsoft Windows you probably know those editions come with a handy tool called the Group Policy Editor, or GPedit for short.

In a nutshell, the Group Policy Editor allows you to make hundreds of advanced tweaks to a PC’s Windows installation that aren’t available via the Control Panel or Settings app.

The thing is, GPedit isn’t available in the Home version of Windows, just the Pro and Enterprise versions.
