Google and Gmail hacked – change your passwords ASAP!

Posted on September 11, 2014

scamWell, the group of Russian hackers who have hacked into so many major websites and user accounts recently have struck again. This time the victim is Google and their users.

Around 5 million Google usernames and passwords have actually been posted online, and it’s likely that many times that amount were actually stolen.

Bottom line: If you use Gmail, Google Adwords, YouTube or any other Google service, you should change the password for your Google account right away.

After changing your password, I strongly recommend that you also set up Two-Factor Authentication on your Google account.

Important: Please consider sharing this to alert your friends, family and acquaintances who might be Google account holders.
