One of the most amazing things about the Internet age is how we can download useful programs and apps to complete most any task we can imagine at absolutely no cost whatsoever.
I like to call it the era of ubiquitous freebies.
But the above being said, free downloads can often have a dark side…
If you have a newer PC with Windows 10 or Windows 11 on it, chances are you like it. I hope you do anyway.
Personally, I think the most recent versions of Windows are OK, but there’s one thing about them that I don’t like one bit.

A while back I wrote this post explaining how to “Unfriend” someone on Facebook without really unfriending him/her.
Well, several people read that post and then asked me if it’s possible to do the same thing on X.
The answer is yes. All you have to do is “Mute” them.
