Q&A: Which phone do you use to take your photos and videos?

Question from Angela: The photos and videos you post on social media are so crisp and clear, and the colors are amazing.

If you don’t mind saying, what type of phone do you use to take them? I’d love to have one like it if it isn’t too expensive.

I have a feeling it must be an iPhone though and those are usually out of my budget range, but it never hurts to ask.

Rick’s answer: I don’t mind answering your question at all, Angela. Several people have asked me that same question, including three people just yesterday.

Truth be told, the phone I use to take my photos and videos isn’t an iPhone. It’s actually a relatively inexpensive Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G.

This is my third Moto G phone and I have absolutely loved every one of them. (Don’t ask why I’ve had three of them in five years – let’s just say I’m a bit of a klutz and leave it at that).

Anyway, this phone does everything I need and more, including capturing really nice video and taking great photos. It also runs all the apps I need.

I honestly believe the Moto G Stylus 5G gives more bang for the buck than any other phone I have ever tried.

And here’s a bonus tip…

If you buy it from Amazon it will arrive unlocked. That means you’ll be able to use it with virtually any carrier, and you’ll be able to switch carriers at any time without having to go through the hassle of having your current carrier unlock it.
