Have you ever wondered what your house and property look like from the air?

Well, it’s easy to find out using Google Earth.

All you need to do is enter your street address into the Google Earth search box to see an aerial view of your home.

Just follow the steps below for the device you’re using.

If you’re using a laptop or desktop computer:

1 – Launch the Google Earth home page by visiting https://earth.google.com/web/.

2 – Click the Menu icon in the top-left corner of the window (it looks like three horizontal lines stacked atop one another).

3 – Click Search.

4 – Start typing your house’s street address into the Search box and then click on your address as soon as it pops up on the screen.

You should now see the satellite image of your property displayed on the screen

If you’re using the Google Earth app on a mobile device:

1 – Launch the Google Earth app.

Note: If you don’t have the app on your device you can install it from the Google Play store.

2 – Tap the Menu icon in the top-left corner of the window (it looks like three horizontal lines stacked atop one another).

3 – Tap Search.

4 – Start typing your house’s street address into the Search box and then tap your address as soon as it pops up on the screen.

You should now see the satellite image of your property displayed on the screen.

That’s all there is to it. Now you know what your own house looks like from the air!

Note: The image of your house displayed by Google Earth could be fairly old, depending on how long ago it was captured. Just sayin’.

Bonus tip: This post offers several tips for searching Google like a pro.
