Question from Doreen: I always try to send birthday greetings to all of my Facebook friends on their actual birthdays, but sometimes things come up and I can’t get on Facebook at all on a given day.
When I log into Facebook the next day, the birthdays from the day before are gone.
Is there a way to see yesterday’s birthdays on Facebook?
Rick’s answer: Hi, Doreen. It’s quite common to miss a given day’s birthdays on Facebook, but fortunately there is a very simple solution for viewing them. Just follow the steps below for the device you’re using…
If you’re using Facebook on a laptop or desktop computer:
1 – While on your “Newsfeed” page, click on the Events link over in the left-hand column (you might need to click More first).
2 – Click the Birthdays link that’s also located in the left-hand column. You should now see a list of your friends who have a birthday today listed on the page.
3 – Scroll down the list of birthdays until you see the date(s) change to yesterday’s date.
If you’re using the Facebook app on a mobile device:
1 – Tap the magnifying glass icon at the top of the screen.
2 – Type birthdays in the search box.
3 – Tap Birthdays. You should now see the birthdays listed on the screen with today’s birthdays at the top.
4 – Scroll down the list of birthdays until you see the date(s) change to yesterday’s date.
