Question from Barbara: I recently learned that every email I send with my iPhone includes a line that says “Sent from my iPhone”.
There are times when I’d rather not tip off the recipient that I sent their email using my phone.
Is there any way to remove the “Sent from my iPhone” message from my outgoing emails?
Rick’s answer: There sure is, Barbara.
And luckily, it’s quite easy to do. Just follow the steps below:
1 – Tap the Settings icon.
2 – Tap Mail.
3 – Scroll down and tap Signature.
4 – Use the Backspace key to remove the entire text of the “Sent from my iPhone” message.
5 – (Optional) Type in a short “signature” message that you’d like to appear at the bottom of every email you send from your iPhone.
6 – Exit the Settings app.
That’s all there is to it. From now on, every email you send will contain either your custom signature message or no signature message at all.
I hope this helps, Barbara. Good luck!
