Q&A: How do I delete my unused Yahoo email account?

Posted on December 9, 2022

Question from Cindy:  I’ve used Yahoo mail for decades but I recently started having problems with it.

I finally got fed up with it and switched to Gmail this morning. I’ve already imported my Yahoo emails and contacts into the new Gmail account.

Since I really don’t need the Yahoo account anymore, can you tell me how to delete it?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have to manually choose the E: drive (the new hard drive) every time I try to save a new document.

How can I change it so Windows will automatically store the new files I create on the E: drive instead of the C: drive?  [Read more…]

Posted on December 2, 2022

Question from Myron:  I read this blog post about installing Linux on an older Windows PC and found it quite intriguing.

The thing is, I don’t have a Windows PC. I have an older MacBook that can no longer be updated to the latest versions of macOS.

Your post about installing Linux didn’t mention anything about installing it on a Mac. Is that possible?  [Read more…]
