Netgear WiFi Analytics – Tune your WiFi network for better performance with this fantastic free app

Posted on January 25, 2019

Does your WiFi network seem slower than it should be?

Do you struggle with poor, unstable connections?

Are you unable to use your devices at all in a distant room?

Many wireless networking issues can be fixed simply by making a tweak or two to your router, but the trick is knowing exactly what’s causing the issue and what you need to tweak.

Our friends at Netgear have developed an awesome free app for your Android devices that can help take some of the guesswork out of diagnosing and fixing many WiFi networking issues.

It’s called Netgear WiFi Analytics, and it’s very easy to use. Once installed, the app will provide you with some very useful information:

  • The current status of your Wi-Fi network
  • The strength of your router’s Wi-Fi signal at your current location
  • Which Wi-Fi channels are the most crowded
  • Which channels are encountering the least signal interference from other devices

You can use the data provided by the app to determine which WiFi channel will give you the strongest and clearest signal so you can enjoy the fastest and most reliable WiFi network possible with your existing equipment.

What’s more, it will also help you determine whether you need to upgrade to a newer and better router.

Even though this app was developed by Netgear, it works perfectly with most any Wi-Fi router, regardless of the brand and model.

Bottom line:  If connection and performance issues with your Wi-Fi network are driving you up the wall, install Netgear WiFi Analytics and give it a try. You just might be able to fix things yourself without having to buy a new router (or at least find out if you need to).

You can download Netgear WiFi Analytics for free from the Google Play Store.
